In the previous article, we explored the idea of the "beach body." The beach body prides itself on being thin. But looking at the scale doesn't tell someone trying to stay fit quite enough information. It doesn't explain how much of the body is muscle tissue for instance, or how close someone is to the weight they should remain naturally. One method of understanding more about your own body is to understand the Body Mass Index, or BMI.
